Missing application folder?

I downloaded the 0.8.0 archive from the website and I saw that the application/controllers, application/views are all empty.
I checked here the repository both tags/0.8.0 and trunk and it's the same thing.

What's happening?

It's all in modules/argenutm_core/

application is blank so that developers can easily override the application behavior.
